What type of gifts do you give at a fairy tale theme bridal shower?

I’m throwing my sister’s bridal shower and she wants a fairy tale theme. We have the favors picked out, but we’re both clueless about what to give as prizes for those who win the games. We’d like to keep them in the same theme. Any suggestions?

  3. Try finding a snowglobe with a castle in it,
maybe be fairy statues (most dollar stores, any store at that should have them for a decent price)
Or maybe buy some fairytale (snow white, cinderella, etc) tee shirts online.

  4. Some little silver items would be nice if you can find them.

  5. How about little fairy statues for around the house.
Or candles in a fairy talesq candle holder.
Earings or pin that are like slippers or a crown.
Picture frame with a fairy tale theme.

  6. maybe some decorative globes, fairys, gnomes, trolls, unicorns, even wind chimes, crystals or suncatchers.
small ceramic or that type material. they sell them in farmers markets, online and in lots of other stores.

  7. or anything pink would “blend” in pink bubble bath, soap and puff

  8. If you must have favors or prizes (I admit it sounds for all the world like a 6-year-old’s birthday party to me), make them edible or floral.

Don’t waste tons of cash on kitschy “decorative” doo-dads that will most likely end up in the trash.

  9. I guess that depends on how ‘big’ you want your prizes to be … you could give winners tiaras (to be silly), or cinderella-themed frames, or jewelery boxes (as nicer gifts). Maybe even give people books of fairy tales?

A few ideas to get you started…

  10. Look in little girl’s dress up clothes for something resembling Cinderella’s glass slipper. Plant an African Violet (or other small blooming plant) in each “glass slipper.”

Buy stuffed frogs (or even put real ones in small aquariums) and label them “Kiss for a Prince.”

Lable caramel apples (or several plain apples in a basket) “Poison Apples.”
