I’ve never been to a bridal shower before and the bride and groom are not registered anywhere. I don’t know what they need for their house they have lived together for years. Do I buy something just for the bride or is it a gift for both of them? Any ideas are appreciated.

My mom is throwing a shower for me and my fiance and we are having a couple’s shower. It is going to be a luau themed/cookout couple shower. She was wondering what kind of cake would go with this. Do you have any suggestions? What is a good bridal shower cake? Should she go with something luau themed, or bridal shower themed or a simple cake with a photo of both of us on it?

I am MOH in my best friend’s wedding. I am planning a bridal/bachelorette party for her that will take place in about a month. Her invite list is at least 60 people long. I am helping my sister with her bridal bouquet…she is planning on carrying a bouquet of cut flowers. Does anyone know a way of keeping water in the stem so the flowers do not dry out at wilt? I have heard of gluing the cut ends of the stems, but I don’t know what type of glue to use….any tips??
