This piece is a traditional bridal processional, and it has been used for many weddings (including many royal weddings.) It is one of the two most popular traditional bridal processionals. The other popular traditional bridal processional is Wagner’s Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, also known as “Here Comes the Bride.”
