Okay heres the deal! Im in the tenth grade and Im a huge tom boy! I didn’t like wearing tight cloths or makeup. Now that I’m getting older though I want to look nice. I really don’t know how to put makeup on properly. Like I don’t want to look fake/a whore, but I want to look nice. I asked my mom to teach me but she was like you don’t need to wear makeup! I really want to start looking nice and what do I do if i go to school with makeup on and everybody says I’m trying to be like everybody else????!!!!Thanks to all who reply!

Ihave Merle Norman makeup and I have been told that their colors can be too dark for someone 16 or young looking already. So please help a girl out?
